BAPE and adidas Football present a capsule collection this month to coincide with this year’s Superbowl. Using A Bathing Ape’s signature camo across a range of items, the collection includes a limited edition helmet, a collaborative Ultra Boost and more.
Telfar is a New York based brand created by Telfar Clemens. One of the brand’s first products was a vegan leather shopping bag that sold out within one weekend and became a permanent fixture on the NY scene. CUTS is published by Gimme 5 and DoBeDo and focuses on a London hairdressers of the same name through the 90s and early 00s. Very much a London institution, CUTS was founded by James Lebon in Kensington Market back in '78. The book is a valuable record of 35mm photographs featuring the clientele that used to be on display in the shop window. Recently the images were rediscovered and made into this 512 page book, available online now.
The first Spring '19 delivery from NY based brand Sies Marjan is now available online. Some of the highlights include faux fur outerwear, leather shorts and satin shirting.
Phipps is the work of Spencer Phipps, an SF born and NY educated designer with previous experience at Dries Van Noten and Marc Jacobs. His own brand is built on a curiosity for the natural world and Phipps strives to source fabrics ethically and construct garments through fair practice. Much of the designer’s collection is made in Portugal with manufacturers chosen to use renewable energy and recycle necessary waste. First delivery now available.
Flipping the script on the Air Monarch and a number of apparel items. Nike and Martine Rose are launching “probably the best collaboration in the world”. Originally previewed on Craigslist and backed by a genius social media campaign, Martine Rose has created something original from clashing contexts. Footwear and clothing from the collection will launch at TRÈS BIEN on January 12.

Junior Executive is the brainchild of long-term friends Måns Ericson and Nils Schéle. Long corporate careers and thousands of hours in the DJ booth, the references are somewhat clear. Junior Executive has collaborated on products with Jakarta crew Pleasure, Très Bien, Mark Seven’s The Black Lodge, multi-man Baba Stiltz and released three vinyl records. This season we're pleased to add Noon Goons to our brand list for Fall / Winter '18. You'll be used to designers pulling from Californian surf culture but Noon Goons is that little bit more authentic with it. All of the brand's products are currently made in Los Angeles and the name is a local phrase for a half assed surfer ... one that turns up to the beach after noon. This season Brain Dead have collaborated with Converse and have applied their off-beat identity to various apparel, accessories and the Chuck Taylor. It’s a disruptive take on the iconic shoe with a mash up of prints and the brand’s own original artwork to the upper can also be seen on the duffel and pouch bag.

Last delivery from Gosha Rubchinskiy
Gosha Rubchinskiy has been part of our mix for many years but this winter the designer presents his final collection. His signature aesthetics and obvious Russian influences can be found throughout and the drop includes colabs with Levis, Adidas and Dr Martens. Check out the concluding collection here.
Sies Marjan is a relatively new brand, founded in New York in 2016, and designed by Sander Lak, a Dutch creative with an impressive resume. He previously worked very closely with Dries Van Noten, and before that Balmain, and Philip Lim. When Sander and his team launched menswear earlier this year, we immediately took interest and were impressed by his use of unexpected fabrics and very vibrant color.
In contrast to his more fantastical womenswear collections, Sander designs men’s clothes that he himself wants to wear (for example, his signature button-down shirt, in sumptuous colors and textures, carries his namesake: the Sander Shirt). We’re beyond excited to welcome Sies Marjan to the Très Bien mix of brands beginning Fall / Winter 2018.

As a part of our Fall / Winter '18 collection we teamed up with the Italian footwear manufacturer Diemme for the Trebbio Vet Hiking Boot. Diemme was founded in Montebelluna, Italy, by brothers Dennis and Maico Signor in 1992. The hiking boot, made out of suede and nubuck upper and features a Vibram sole and contrasting laces, comes in two colorways and is now online here.

For this winter we have worked together with Crescent Down Works on a puffer down jacket and a vest. Crescent Down Works has been making premium hand-crafted down outerwear in the Pacific Northwest out of their Seattle factory since 1974. The down jacket and the vest both come in two colorways and are now available here.

Très Bien are excited to welcome Wales Bonner for the first time for the Fall/Winter 2018 season. Grace Wales Bonner founded her eponymous brand after earning her B.A. from Central Saint Martins in 2014. Each season, Grace continues her exploration of black male identity, telling a story via her collections, which typically include sharp tailoring, unexpected embellishment, and a twist of sporty ease.
For FW18, Grace honed in on the French-Caribbean philosophy of "créolité"—an active process of forming identity. Très Bien’s curation of Wales Bonner FW18 includes luxe interpretations of sport classics, such as an anorak in vibrant yellow silk, and track pants with knit embroidery, along with a polo shirt incorporating the artwork of Jacob Lawrence, an important African American painter who represented African American stories of migration and everyday life.

For Autumn & Winter '18, Martine Rose builds on the working class aesthetics the designer does so well. A collection inspired by the bits of the 90s that were worth remembering. From twisted takes on classic football tops to mind bending tracksuits, first drop is now online here.
'Untitled' EP vinyl and t-shirt are now online. Our own Anton and Sacred Grove affiliate about the release.
"Sacred Grove is an artist collective based in Malmö Sweden, all the way to Japan. Its main focus is for the artists involved to define their own sounds and creativity. No bullshit. This release on City-2 St. Giga contains shattered sci-fi elevators and blissful space jams for the real g’s of today. The t-shirt was made by Teodor Heijkenskjöld and his mother Margareta. Only 50 were made."
Très Bien has worked on a capsule collection with classic American shirt maker Gitman Bros. The collaboration includes four shirts; a white cotton-stretch ripstop western shirt, a brown plush velvet epaulet shirt and two variations of a hooded shirt; one black plush velvet and one dark navy cotton-stretch ripstop. The collection combines the heritage and quality of a classic made-in-USA Gitman Shirt, with high-end fabrics and functional details selected by Très Bien. As the allocated stock was lower than expected, one of the bigger drops this year from Nike, the React Element 87 is now online as a raffle here and not as an online release as previously stated by us. The raffle closes this Thursday, August 16.
First delivery from the new Très Bien collection is starting to drop at stockists worldwide as well as on our webshop here. We shot a few looks on Sid wearing items from the first drop together with with pieces coming later this season, like the shoes made in collaboration with Tricker’s and Diemme.

Last week, we headed out for lunch at our regular shawarma spot and to capture action imagery of the Converse x JW Anderson Chuck 70 Toy collection. The colorful, patent leather Chuck 70’s, styled with pieces from the Très Bien Fall/ Winter 2018 collection, popped like candy against the faux stone floor.
