Ali works with solid wood through steady, repetitive movements that have become instinctive over time. His hands guide the process, measuring, cutting and refining, responding to the material as much through touch as through sight. Years of practice are visible in the quiet precision of each gesture.

Together with his team, Ali develops bespoke furniture in close collaboration with architects and designers. Their work is shaped by cooperation, accuracy and the ability to solve complex challenges through carefully considered solutions. A shared curiosity and dedication to craft drives each project forward, with dialogue and material understanding forming a natural part of the process.

His studio, located on Norra Grängesbergsgatan in Malmö, Sweden, reflects this approach. Here, form develops gradually. Marks are adjusted, surfaces are reworked and progress is defined by attention rather than speed. The work is physical and methodical, shaped by a close understanding of how material behaves.

This way of working echoes the thinking behind the New Balance Made in USA collection. The connection is not direct or stated, but felt in the emphasis on process, material awareness and the role of skilled hands in shaping the final result.
