Established in 2009 in France and now based in California, HOKA ONE ONE launched with one goal - to reinvent the running shoe. Jean-Luc Diard and Nicolas Mermoud, two lifelong runners, spent years perfecting the design and ensuring that the extra thick midsole provided enough cushioning and stability whilst remaining super lightweight. Originally embraced by ultra runners, the shoes are now popular with road runners and hikers alike and the range has expanded to include slides and flip flops.
