PARABOOT MICHAEL

First introduced in 1945, the Paraboot Michael was created as a sturdy everyday shoe for life in the French Alps. Built with a Norwegian welt and Paraboot’s own natural rubber sole, it was designed to handle wet, uneven terrain while remaining comfortable for daily wear. Over time, the Michael moved from a practical work shoe to a staple of understated French style, appreciated for its durability, distinctive shape, and unchanging design.

We carry three versions of the Michael: one in Brown Grain Leather, Black Patent and one in  Hairy Cowhide — each offering a different take on this enduring classic.
