Comme des Garçons is a Japanese label founded by Rei Kawakubo in 1973. Known for her avant-garde designs, radical use of proportion and multitude of references, Kawakubo has had a dramatic impact on what is considered 'fashion'. The label is comprised of multiple diffusion lines, including Shirt, a line that reworks and deconstructs wardrobe essentials such as the button-down shirt through juxtaposing materials, patterns and offbeat details.
