Maison Margiela

Conceptual Antwerp designer Martin Margiela founded his Paris Maison in 1988 and became a leader of the Belgian avant-garde. The notoriously elusive designer created his own unconventional principles, marrying deconstruction with tradition and experimenting with shapes and materials. In 2014 John Galliano took over as creative director of the Maison. The designer continues to reinvent and transform classic menswear, updating signature Margiela styles like the Tabi boot and Replica sneaker.
